A memorial service for Richard James Warren, 60, a 30-year Virginia City resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Virginia City Senior Citizens Center, at the corner of Mill and E streets.

Mr. Warren died March 30, 2007, in Virginia City. He was born Feb. 7, 1947, in Angola, Ind., to William H. Warren and Mattie Vey Tillotson.

Before moving to Virginia City, Mr. Warren lived in Carson City.

He was a slot mechanic at the Bucket of Blood Saloon and an overall handyman.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Among his survivors are his daughter Michelle Ceragioli of Dayton; brothers Bruce and Reginald Warren both of San Diego and four grandchildren.

Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
