Dayton softball beats Silver Stage

Sierra Barnwell pitched four innings for the win for Dayton (7-5), striking out five while walking one and allowing three hits. Brittany Curtis didn't allow a hit while walking one over the final three innings.

Brittany Hill was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run, Barnwell, Brittany Burrowns and Curtis all had a hit and a run, Sara Simmons had a hit and an RBI, Amanda Beard had a hit and two runs, Caty Cross had a hit, Melissa Goetz was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run and Nicole Iratcabal was 1-for-1 with an RBI and a run.
