The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 24-year-old data entry clerk from Carson City was arrested at 5:45 p.m. at William and Roop streets on suspicion of misdemeanor obstruction of a peace officer and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $1,139. Also arrested was a 19-year-old Carson City laborer on suspicion of misdemeanor driving without a license, traveling in the turn lane and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $1,401.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Graffiti reports on Research Way, Conestoga Drive and Colorado Street.


• Battery report in the 300 block of East John Street at 9:45 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 1500 block of Rand Avenue at 9:47 a.m.


• Grand larceny report on Weise Road at 10:29 a.m.


• Fraud reports on Old Clear Creek Road, College Parkway and Imperial Way.


• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane 4:18 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Juvenile battery report at Silver Stage Middle School at 11:09 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest in the 100 block of Jugs Circle in Mason Valley at 1:05 p.m.


• Sheila Maria Monahan, 31, was arrested on a felony in relation to a drunken driving report on Main Street in Yerington at 1:14 p.m.


• A Fernley mother reported 15 juveniles jumped her 15-year-old son at 2:39 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Bridge Street in Mason Valley at 9:51 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A report of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle on Interstate 80 at 1:18 p.m.


• Traffic citations at State Route 341 and Cartwright Road at 1:49 p.m. and 2:39 p.m.
