A memorial Mass for Jean B. Munley, 78, a Dayton resident since 1991, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Dayton. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Reno.

Mrs. Munley died March 25, 2007, in Redding, Calif. She was born Dec. 22, 1928, in Loomis, Calif., to James and Martha Brennan.

She married J.H. "Mickey" Munley on Nov. 30, 1947, in Sacramento.

She attended Placer High School in Auburn, Calif., and the University of Nevada, Reno.

She was a homemaker.

She belonged to St. Ann's Catholic Church in Dayton, the Dayton Valley Country Club, and the Town & Country Bridge Club of Auburn, Calif.

She was preceded in death by sister Kathryn Reimer in 2005.

Among her survivors are her husband, of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law James and Debra Munley of Kings Beach, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia Ann and Bill Beaver of Redding, Calif., and Calleen and Jon Jordan of Grants Pass, Ore.; sisters Patricia Harper of Florence, Ore., and Martha Gay Krpan of Yorba Linda, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada, 705 S. Wells Ave. #225, Reno, NV, 89502.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
