The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority has promoted Charlton Northington to general manager of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
Northington has served as acting general manager for the center since October of 2006.
He will oversee daily operations of the convention center and will manage all departments.
He joined the RSCVA in 2000 as event services manager.
