CHS JVS SWEEP
Carson (19-9, 12-6) won the opener 18-2 and the nightcap 14-3. In the opener, Nate Reno was 2-for-4 with two RBI, Justin Allbritten was 2-for-4 with three RBI, Tom Purcell was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Tyler Hutchins, Blake Davidson and Dustin Buttner all had a hit and an RBI and David Charles added a hit.
Charles pitched three scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out four. Blake Plattsmier finished up, striking out four over two innings.
In the nightcap, Mason Bondi was 2-for-4 with two RBI, David Perce was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Collin Grischott had a hit and two RBI, Tom Purcell went 1-for-2 with three RBI, Davidson went 1-for-2 with an RBI and Plattsmier, Jeff Butler, Hutchins and Charles all added a hit.
Allbritten struck out three over three innings and Perce finished up, allowing no runs on no hits while striking out six and walking one over three innings.
