The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 27-year-old heating and air conditioning technician from Carson City was arrested at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday at Menlo Drive and Green Court on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail set at $3,000.


• An 18-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:04 a.m. at Slide Mountain and Beverly drives on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol. His bail was set at $237. Also arrested was a 19-year-old landscaper on suspicion of probation violation and minor consuming, and a 20-year-old unemployed woman on suspicion of minor consuming and contempt of court. The woman's bail was set at $741, the 19-year-old's was set at $3,237.


• A 22-year-old Sunland, Calif., salesman was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Joshua Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor soliciting without a permit. He was allegedly selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door. Bail was set at $632.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A woman reported her sister-in-law tried to stab her brother at 5:54 a.m.


• Cash and credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle the 900 block of Winnie Lane sometime Monday.


• A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 2700 block of North Carson Street at 12:07 p.m.


• Accident at North Stewart and East Spear streets at 3:22 p.m.


• Threat report on Merrill Road at 4:08 p.m.


• Report of a 13-year-old foster child running away from his foster parent at Wal-Mart at 6:59 p.m. The child was located.


• A woman turned in to the sheriff's department at 7:30 p.m. a credit card and Social Security card she found.


• Accident at Highway 50 East and Airport Road at 9:06 p.m.


• Report of one juvenile striking another at juvenile booking at 9:16 p.m.


• Report of juveniles throwing rocks at a house on Table Rock Drive at 11:44 p.m. Three arrests were made.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Destruction of property report on Hematite Drive in Mound House at 2:08 a.m.


• Felony arrest on Santiago Way in Dayton at 3:48 a.m.


• Report of someone attempting to cash checks stolen from an East Newlands Drive business in Fernley at 9:11 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Idaho Street in Silver Springs at 10:05 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Locust Drive in Mason Valley at 2:50 p.m.


• A man reported his car broke down on Campfire Court in Fernley and three men showed up, beat him, stole his drivers license and wallet and left at 3:12 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrests on Highway 50 East in Mark Twain in relation to a battery report at 10:38 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Traffic citations issued on State Route 342, Caramella Lane, USA Parkway and Interstate 80.


• A caller reported their dog chased a bear out of their yard on Calaveras Road at 8:35 a.m.


• Wild horses were reported to be on both sides of State Route 341 near Lousetown Road at 9:34 p.m.
