Carol Epling, 67, a five-year resident of Carson City, died Aug. 2, 2007. Mrs. Epling was born Jan. 16, 1940, in Stockton, Calif., to Lee Booth and Ethel Gasaway. She married William Cecil Epling on Jan. 22, 1977, at the Oakland LDS Temple, Oakland, Calif.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crafting.

Mrs. Epling was preceded in death by her husband on June 16, 1991.

Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law David and Vicki Epling of Carson City; brother and sister-in-law Dave and Wanda Booth of Stockton; granddaughters Theresa Epling of Pacheco, Calif., and Deborah Epling of Carson City; grandson David Foreman of Stockton; nieces Carolyn Kotecki of Yreka, Calif., and Angela Booth of Salida, Calif.; nephews David Booth of Montague, Calif., and Jeff Booth of McKinney, Texas.

A viewing will be 9 a.m., with funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8806 Don Ave., in Stockton. Internment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord, Calif.

Memorial donations may be made to help offset the costs of the funeral to: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hot Springs Ward, in care of Bishop John Flansberg, 2204 N. Mountain St., Carson City 89703.
