The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Mark Walker, a 20-year-old unemployed Carson man, was arrested on suspicion of battery, destruction of property and robbery on the 2000 block of North Carson Street at 7:08 p.m. Friday. While shopping, Walker allegedly took a bottle of Captain Morgan rum and a four-pack of Guinness lager and put them in his book bag. He was stopped by store security and a struggle ensued. Bail was set at $40,000.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Friday and Saturday:


• A 24-year-old male construction worker was arrested on suspicion of violating his probation out of Douglas County at 12:30 a.m. Saturday. He was taken into custody at the 1600 block of East Long Street.


• A 20-year-old driver of Carson City was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court over a traffic violation on Hot Springs Road at 9:50 a.m. Saturday. His bail was set at $354.


• A 21-year-old busser from Dayton was arrested for having a concealed weapon at Carson Meadows at 1:05 p.m. Saturday. Bail was set at $2,500.


• An 18-year-old unemployed Carson man was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of being a minor consuming alcohol and failure to comply with an officer at 20 College Parkway. Bail was set at $650.


• A 48-year-old dry wall installer of Carson City was arrested for two outstanding warrants on the 2200 block of Mayflower Street at 2:12 p.m. Saturday. Bail was set at $1,300.


• A 67-year-old unemployed Carson man was arrested on the intersection of Russett Way and Winnie Lane for being drunk in public at 2:15 p.m. Saturday. Bail was set at $67.
