A celebration of life for Fred W. Peal, 55, a five-year resident of Carson City, will be 1-5 p.m. Sept. 8 at Mills Park.

Mr. Peal died Aug. 19, 2007, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 21, 1951, to Earl Jr. and Shirley Peal in Beckly, W. Va. Before moving to Carson City he lived in Simi Valley, Calif. He was employed at Rocketdyne in Santa Susana, Calif., for 17 years. He worked for the Horseshoe Club, Fandango, and Dayton Depot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bay and Jack.

Among his survivors are his girlfriend, Suzanne Pratt; brother and sister-in-law Earl and Cody Peal; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Johnny Gurley and Robin and Ben Butler; sisters, Kandy Peal and Becky Peal; numerous nephews and nieces; and friend Vickie Easter;.

Washoe Memorial Cremation and Burial is in charge of arrangements.
