What I do: Embroidery, silk screening, image wear and personalized apparel.

Why I purchased the business: I was talking to a friend of mine in church one day, and he told me about an embroidery company for sale. With the 20 years of combined experience, my business partners and I decided to do it. We changed the name from Mr. Roy's to Visual Identity Products.

Inspiration: Just jump in there and do it.

Family: Two children: Alisha, 16; Kyle, 11.

Goals for business: I've created a Web site for apparel, and I want to create more for different aspects of the business, such as for corporate logos. We also will be able to do letterheads, invitations, flyers and banners. My future goal is to create a market where I can be running the business 24 hours.
