A graveside service for Fred Burleigh Chapman, 66, with the Rev. John Grummon presiding, will be at the Pawnee Rock Cemetery in Kansas at 3 p.m. today.
Mr. Chapman died July 22, 2007, in Great Bend, Kan. He was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Sacramento to Rollin Merle and Louise Maretta Pratt Chapman.
He married Sandra Mullins on Jan. 31, 1964.
Among his survivors are his wife, of Winter Haven, Calif.; sons Roland of Great Bend, Fred Chapman II, Daniel, Raymond and Jeffery, all of Pawnee Rock, Kan.; daughters Loretta Elsen of Ellinwood, Kan., Deborah Torres and Sarah Wagner, both of Great Bend and brother William Chapman of Great Bend. He has many brothers and sisters living in Nevada and California.
