Frederick H. Willis

Frederick H. Willis, 58, of Clarksville, Tenn., died July 15, 2007, at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.

Mr. Willis was born Feb. 23, 1949, to J. Vern Willis and Barbara Chapman in Yuma, Ariz. He received his dental degree from Oregon State University Dental School in Portland. He was the dentist at Ft. Campbell Army Base in Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and had a ranch, called the Ponderosa, in Clarksville where he cared for many animals.

Among his survivors are mother, Barbara Willis-Keagy, of Carson City; brother and sister-in-law J. Vern and Karen Willis of McMinnville, Ore.; niece Amanda; nephews Matthew and Andrew.

A private service will be held. Inurnment will be at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
