There will be a private memorial family gathering for Thelma G. Wegele, 90, a 12-year Carson City resident. Mrs. Wegele died May 16, 2007, at Evergreen.
She was born Oct. 21, 1916, in Harrington, Wash., to Vernon and Annie McKellips.
She married John Henry Wegele in September 1941, in Harrington.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Sacramento, Calif.
Mrs. Wegele graduated from high school and had one year of college.
She was a bookkeeper.
She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.
Among her survivors are daughter and son-in-law Donna L. and Dick McNeely; grandson and wife Dan and Julie McNeely and great-grandchildren Ricky and Emily McNeely.
Burial will be in Sacramento next to her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hilltop Community Church.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
