A service for Mary Gentry-Wauneka, 43, a Phoenix resident for the past 20 years, was held in Phoenix.
Mrs. Gentry-Wauneka died May 26, 2007, in Phoenix.
She was born Dec. 11, 1963, in New Mexico to Earl and Mary Thomas Gentry.
She lived in Carson City from 1968-78 and attended Carson City schools.
Mrs. Gentry-Wauneka was a speech pathologist.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother James Earl Gentry.
Among her survivors are her son, Joseph; daughters Jordan, Jamie and Jaylyn; and mother and sisters Earlyne Marlyne and JoLynn.
Burial will be in Grove, Okla.
Paradise Chapel of Phoenix is in charge of arrangements.
