Tigersharks shine in Lake Berryessa Swim

The Carson Tigersharks had several top finishes at the 26th annual Lake Berryessa open water one-mile swim held on Saturday in Northern California.

In 15-16-year-old boys, Kevin Dyer took second in 20 minutes, 39 seonds. Tatum Boehnke was third in 15-16 girls in 22 minutes, 11 seconds and Samantha Ashmore was third in 17-18 girls in 23 minutes, 40 seconds. Julie Asire was fifth in 15-16 girls in 22 minutes, 38 seconds.

Also for the Tigersharks, Jessica Fahrenbruch finished in 31.46 and Abigain Pittman finished in 34.02 in 11-12 girls. In 11-12 boys, Nathanael Williams finished in 37.24.

Other Tigershark finishers in 15-16 age group were: Alyson Redmond, 26.16; Beth Lewis, 26.43; Julia Lapham, 28.05; Ryan Hogan, 21.16 and Kurt Andersen, 29.34. Tigershark head coach Gaby Phalan and assistant coach Jessica Fahrenbruch also participated in the event.
