Nevada Bighorns beat NorCal Yankees

The Nevada Bighorns rebounded from an 18-9 loss to the Reno Astros earlier in the day by beating the NorCal Yankees 10-4 on Saturday night.

Aaron Henry had two doubles and a solo home run in the third inning. He finished with three runs and three RBI.

Jeff Young went 3-for-3 with a two-run triple in the fourth. He finished with three runs and three RBI.

Tyson Jaquez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the sixth. He finished with two runs and three RBI.

Kevin Schlange had a hit and a run and Shane Kockenmeister and Adam Anderson each added a hit. Daniel Eastham pitched a complete game for the win with really only one rough inning in which he gave up three runs in the fifth. He struck out six over seven innings while giving up five hits. Sunday's scheduled game with the Yankees was canceled. The Bighorns will next play at 7 p.m. Wednesday against the Astros at Moana Stadium.
