The Lyon County Commissioners approved a contract with Public Policy Innovation LLC to hire Bob Hadfield as interim county manager.
The county will pay $8,500 per month for Hadfield's services.
B.J. Selender, owner of Public Policy Innovations, said his company would receive unspecified compensation from the contract, but it will come out of the $8,500 monthly payment.
The contract will be in force until June 3, 2007, but could be extended if necessary.
