One arrested, one sought in early-morning chase

Douglas County Sheriff's deputies are searching for Robert Michael "Robby" Hernandez, 21, following a chase that began early this morning on the Stewart Indian Colony.

According to police, Tribal Police attempted to stop a brown Chevy Trail Blazer at about 3:30 a.m. this morning on the colony.

The vehicle fled into Douglas County where police tried to trap it in a cul de sac. The driver allegedly rammed through the police vehicles. It was finally stopped at Princeton Avenue and Vista Grande Boulevard where two men jumped out and ran.

At about 10:30 a.m. police found the two suspects in a field where they had hid out together off of Princeton Avenue and Carnelian Way.

Police then arrested Fidel Fuentez, 24.

Weapons were found in the car, it is unknown if Hernandez is armed.

Hernandez is the stepson of Carson City Mayor Marv Teixeira.
