Ruth Kerr

Ruth Kerr, 84, a six-year Davie, Fla., resident, died March 10, 2007, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., after a brief illness.

Mrs. Kerr was born March 21, 1922, in Cleveland.

She was retired from Cole National Corp.

Before moving to Florida, Mrs. Kerr lived in Carson City.

She enjoyed flower arranging.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Steward, second husband, Richard Kerr; sons John R. Steward and George Steward; sister Mildred Berman of Carson City and brother Sheldon Thompson.

Among her survivors are her daughter Kathleen Smith and brother Howard Thompson.

Services will be held in Cleveland at a later date.

Ralph and Sons Funeral Home in Florida is in charge of arrangements.
