Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 50-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested Thursday at 6:35 p.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,865.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 6:57 a.m.

• Graffiti report on Fairview Drive at 9:20 a.m.

• Accident on West Fifth Street, South Curry Street, North Roop Street and Northgate Lane.

• Fraud report on West Winnie Lane at 10:12 a.m.

• Property injury reports on Westwood Drive and North Carson Street.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A person was booked into a jail on a Reno warrant and posted bail at 9:29 a.m.

• Traffic citation issued on State Route 342 near Cabin in the Sky at 4:11 p.m.

• A driver reported another vehicle was tailing and its driver threw a lit cigarette out the window on Geiger Grade at 5:28 p.m. The call was referred to Washoe County.
