A memorial for Robert Warren Jenkins, 56, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mr. Jenkins died May 9, 2007, at his home. He was born Dec. 10, 1950, in Ventura, Calif., to Bernie Missouri Jenkins and Bertha Irene Storey.
Prior to living in Carson City, he resided in Kerman, Calif.
He married Janette Bandoni on Dec. 18, 2004, in Carson City. He was a retail manager and member of Carson Valley Christian Church.
He enjoyed watching sports, cooking, antiquing and spending time with dogs Bernie and Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Glenn Jenkins.
Among his survivors are his wife, of Carson City; sons Matthew Jenkins of Fresno, Calif., and Jon Jenkins of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Steven Johnson of Kerman; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Haskel Edwards of Porterville, Calif., six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital in Robert's name.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
