Wilson's 65th
Irene A. Wilson and Loyde J. Wilson, Carson City residents for the past 45 years, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Irene and Loyde were married May 10, 1942 in Sparks.
They have a daughter, Judith M. Shugrve of Dairy, Ore.
Loyde is a retired appliance manager for Baker Electric Co. in Carson City. Irene is retired from the State of Nevada and is a homemaker.
The couple were honored at Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church on May 6 with a fellowship hosted by Shelly Dennis and Karen Collier, with a service led by Rev. Marvin Dennis. Family in attendance included the couple's daughter, grandson Ron Wilson and wife Nicole, and Wally and Jean Hesse. They also celebrated at two private dinners with family and friends.
