The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Matthew D. Bowling, 41, a maintenance worker from Carson City, was arrested in the 1100 block of North Saliman Street at 10:30 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and contempt of court.


• Jose Julian Ibarra-Hinojosa, 30, a laborer from Mexico, was arrested in the 800 block of Musser Street, Carson City, at 5:13 p.m. Friday on a fugitive from justice warrant from Downey, Calif. No bail was set.


• A 48-year-old social worker from Carson City was arrested in the 2000 block of East Sheffield Manor at 3:45 p.m. Monday on suspicion of probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.


•A 33-year-old electrician from Carson City was arrested at Carson and Fifth streets at 4:14 a.m. on suspicion of failure to appear in traffic court. Bail was set at $599.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Helicopter crash in Mason Valley with the pilot injured, at 10:52 a.m.


• Noise complaints on Beach Street in Silver Springs at 3:57 a.m.


• Noise complaints on Rawe Peak Drive in Dayton at 9:27 a.m.


• Battery report on Beach Street in Silver Springs at 8:22 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Traffic stop at SR 341 south of Five Mile Flat at 7:47 a.m. Warning issued.


• A dog was left in a Silver Toyota 4Runner at the Way it Was Museum on North C Street at 1:07 p.m.


• Arrest made on a warrant at East Mustang Road and Peri Ranch Road, Lockwood, at 2:10 p.m.


• Traffic accident at Mill and North E streets at 6:34 p.m.


• Report of shots fired at Sam Clemens Avenue and Martin Lane at 9:12 p.m.


• DUI on Lousetown Road at Barrel Springs Road, Virginia City Highlands, at 11:06 p.m.
