An experimental airplane having landing gear problems has landed safely at the Minden-Tahoe Airport as of 1:20 p.m.
East Fork firefighters responded to the airport at 1 p.m. after a distress call came in that the pilot was having difficulty with the plane's landing gear.One person was on board.
Fire personnel set up on the runway and the plane circled overhead until crews were in place.
The airport got the call when the plane was about two miles out.
