A planned meeting of the Storey County School District to consider the appeal of fired Virginia City High School Teacher William Beeson has been canceled.
The meeting was to have been at 1 p.m. today in the Virginia City Middle School library.
A spokesman for Tom Donaldson, Beeson's attorney, said the meeting was canceled due to an agreement between the parties. No information was available on the specifics of the agreement.
