A Memorial Service for Avanell C. Linford will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at
2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saliman Rd. in Carson City, NV.
Avanell passed away Nov. 11, 2007 in Carson City, she was 95 years old. Avanell born Feb. 25, 1912 in Kelsey, Texas to William and Melvina Knight.
She has been a resident of Carson City since 1962, moving here from San Jose, CA. She is a member of the LDS church, 4th Ward in Carson. Avanell was a business owner, owning and operating Carson City Bookkeeping Service from 1964 to 1980. The business was later purchased by her son, Bobby.
Avanell will be dearly missed by her son, Bobby Hughes of Carson City, five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with her final arrangements.
