Carl Lamon

Carl Lamon Passed away November 15, 2007.

Carl was a 50 year resident of Carson Valley. Born February 13, 1937 to Addie and Jack Lamon in Oakland, California.

Carl was raised on a working farm in Fort Jones California. Graduated from Fort Jones High School in 1955. Carl was a surveyor for the government from 1956 through 1966, and was a truck driver for Richfield from 1966 to 1971. In 1971 Carl was employed by the Dept of Transportation for the State Nevada. Retired in 1996. Carl was a Past Master in the Mason's in Douglas Lodge 12. He spent two years in the U.S. Army and was stationed in the Presidio in San Francisco.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Addie and Jack Lamon, son Tommy Lamon, and Grandson Richie Fernandez. Carl is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sue Lamon, children, Cindy Fernandez of NY, Joe Fernandez of NY, Valerie Lamon of AZ, Arnie Lamon of AZ, Tim Dowd of Reno, Danny Dowd of CA, Lupe Dowd of CA. Carl and Sue have 11 grandchildren; Joey Fernandez of Valley Stream NY; Jennifer Fernandez of Valley Stream NY; Michelle Fernandez of Valley Stream NY; Luke Lamon of Mesa AZ, Alicia Lamon of Mesa AZ; Robbie Dowd of Reno; Michael Dowd of Minden; Megan Dowd of Minden; Jordan Dowd of Livermore CA; Dustin Lamon of Findlay Ohio; Deziree Lamon of Findlay Ohio.

Per Carl's wishes, there will be no service.
