Citizens Against Poverty is partnering with Carson City businesses to give Christmas dinners and gifts to people in need on Dec. 21. Cash, clothing or food donations need to be turned in no later that Dec. 17.
Monetary donations can be sent to We Be Blessed Thrift Store at 232 E. Winnie Lane.
Sponsors and drop-off locations for toys and non-perishable foods include: We Be Blessed Thrift Store (Crossroads Center on Winnie Lane); Surviving Seconds Thrift Store (4750 Hwy 50 East); Peaks (Crossroads Center on Winnie Lane); San Marcos Grill (Crossroads Center on Winnie Lane); Great Basin Glass (4630 US Highway 50 E # 12); U.S. Submarine Base (894 US Highway 50 East, # 10); Grocery Outlet (1831 N. Carson St.).
All proceeds benefit Citizens Against Poverty sponsor-a-family Christmas Event & Fundraiser.
