The Lyon County Planning Commission will hold a workshop on the county's master plan at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the county administrative offices, 27 South Main St., Yerington.
County officials have been working on a county-wide master plan for about 18 months.
The workshop will include presentations by county staff and discussion by commissioners on the review of the future growth concept; proposed draft land use plan; mapping and implementation concepts, community boundaries, character area boundaries, community plans and the next step in the process.
