The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 24-year-old bookkeeper from Carson City was arrested at 1:28 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview and Edmonds drives on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to obtain a substance-abuse evaluation. Bail was set at $1,000.


• A 64-year-old caregiver from Carson City was arrested at 9:18 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Gold Leaf Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Felony arrest on Fifth Street at 2:19 a.m.


• Felony arrest on Stewart Street at 5:09 a.m.


• Accident on East William Street at North Carson Street at 8:03 a.m.


• Graffiti report on College Parkway at 8:29 a.m.


• Battery report on Pullman Drive at 9:53 a.m.


• Child abuse report at the sheriff's department at 10:22 a.m.


• Accident at North Stewart and Robinson streets at 10:43 a.m.


• Fraud report in the 400 block of Saliman Road at 12:50 p.m.


• Accident at College Parkway and Retail Road at 3:56 p.m.


• Felony arrest at Longridge and Northridge drives at 9:09 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 11:41 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Report of a window possibly shot out by a BB gun on Occidental Drive in Dayton at 8:56 a.m.


• Coroner call on Mountain View Drive in Yerington at 9:03 a.m.


• Man in Fernley reported the subject of a restraining order had violated the order by calling him 22 times.


• Misdemeanor drunken driving arrest on Main Street in Fernley at a "fender bender" there at 12:11 p.m.


• Report at 1:51 p.m. of a student who brought a "shank" to school at Fernley High School.


• Misdemeanor arrest at Yerington High School at 7:10 p.m.


• A Dayton Valley man reported he was attacked on his porch by his neighbor's dog at 9:03 p.m.
