A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at
Walton's Chapel of The Valley for Melinda Wadsworth Murphy. Burial will follow at Stewart Indian Cemetery.
She passed away peacefully at her home on October 9, 2007. She was 78 years old.
She was born on February 23, 1929 in Carson Valley to Pansy and Chester Wadsworth. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, basket weaving and outdoor activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Murphy; sister Catherine Fillmore; brothers Sullivan, Bryan, Melvin, and Delbert Wadsworth.
She is survived by daughters Charlene Jackson and Joleen Murphy; sons Willis, Dennis, Gerald, Randall, David, Richard, and Danny Murphy and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
