Gold Hill hotel owner wins award

Bill Fain, owner of the Gold Hill Hotel and producer of the Gold Hill Theatre Troupe has been honored by the Nevada Arts Council for his contribution to the arts.

Fain was awarded the Patronage in the Arts Award, after being was nominated by actor Cameron Crain.

Teresa Moiola of the Nevada Arts Council confirmed the award.

Fain began the Gold HIll Theater Troupe which performs plays at the hotel as well as a Shakespearean play each summer in the hotel's gazebo.
