Parks and Recreation Commission meets Tuesday

The Carson City Parks and Recreation Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Sierra Room of the Community Center, 851 E. William St.

Topics include possible acceptance by the city of Treadway Park and the selection of two commissioners to serve on a negotiation committee. The committee will create an agreement with the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada to develop a recreation center.

This building site on Russell Way also will be considered by the Board of Supervisors during their meeting Thursday.

Also scheduled during Tuesday's commission meeting: a presentation about the residential construction tax and status updates about Schulz Ranch, John Mankins Park and the Carriage House at Robert's House.
