(Staff report) - The Nevada Department of Transportation will hold two public hearings on the recently completed Highway 50 Corridor study.

The study covers 52 miles of Highway 50 from the recently completed Carson City freeway to the junction of Highway 95A.

The first meeting will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 25 at the McAtee Building, 2475 Fort Churchill Road, Silver Springs; and the second will be that same day from 4-7 p.m. at the Lyon County Utilities Building, 34 Lakes Blvd. in Dayton. The corridor study is available online at www.us50corridorstudy.com/Home.htm.

According to NDOT's Web site, an open forum format will be used throughout the meetings to increase the opportunity for public comment and provide one-on-one discussion with staff members and stakeholders.
