Rhonda Costa-Landers/Nevada Appeal
A bear was spotted near the National Guard Armony at 6:30 a.m. It was headed toward Fairview Drive and attempted to cross the road. However, traffic scared it back into the sagebrush.
Another bear was reported in the area of Thompson and Third streets in west Carson City.
