Robert L. Ray, 96, a 6-year resident of Carson City, died July 18, 2008 in Carson City. Prior to moving to Carson City he lived in Napa, Calif. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughter, Virginia Gail Lenz of Redding, Calif.; twin daughters Marlene Moser of Redding, Calif. and Carlene Wyrich of Bremerton, Wash.; stepdaughters Dixie Kerr of Alaska; Sheila Holmes of Oakland, Calif.; and Kathy Hesser of Hayward, Calif. and Pat Cronin of San Francisco, Calif. Inurnment will be at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, Calif. Truckee Meadows Cremation and Burial Services in Reno in charge of arrangements.
