Born in Henrietta, N.Y. Raised in Moravia, N.Y. on a farm.

Survived by wife Barbara Nesbitt, Carson City; son and daughter Keith and Debbie Nesbitt, Auburn, Calif.; daughter Sally Nesbitt, Phoenix, Ariz.; sister Virginia Cornwell, Moravia, N.Y.; and many grandchildren.

Stan was a staff sergeant in the Korean Conflict. He loved animals - especially his pets: Pal (his dog) and Pat (his horse). He also loved fishing, the great outdoors and his cowboy boots.

His Native-American name was Silent Walker, yet his outgoing spirit and positive persona won over everyone who crossed his path.
