Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Brian Glen Hofius Ward, 22, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. at Musser and Roop streets on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution and misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $3,232.

- A 23-year-old sign maker from Carson City was arrested at 2:44 a.m. Monday at Desatoya and Fairview drives on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, no insurance and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $3,339.

- A 19-year-old unemployed Dayton man was arrested at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday at Highway 50 East on suspicion of reckless driving, no insurance and expired registration. Bail was set at $2,025.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Residential burglary report on Chinook Circle at 8:31 a.m.

- A father reported at 9:19 a.m. that he believed his ex-wife took his children to Mexico.

- Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 9:31 a.m.

- A laundry room on Menlo Drive was broken into and money stolen from machines.

- Residential burglary report on Caboose Drive at 11:25 a.m.

- Residential burglary report on Bryan Circle at 11:51 a.m.

- Report of an iPod stolen from a shopper on Market Street.

- Window shot with a BB gun in the 700 block of West Musser Street at 5:36 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Accident on Pinecone Road in Dayton at 3:24 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Report of 15-year-old girl with a possible broken foot at Hugh Gallagher Elementary School at 1:09 p.m.

- A 9-year-old home alone in Mark Twain called 911 at 8:37 p.m. because he thought there was someone in the house with him. He said his dog was acting funny.
