Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Francisco Trejo Ortega, 37, a landscaper from Reno, was arrested at 4 p.m. on a warrant charging failure to appear after admission to bail on a charge of obtaining false documentation to establish false status. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Misdemeanor arrest at Carson High School at 7:42 a.m.

- Grand larceny report in the 1700 block of Highway 50 East at 11:38 a.m.

- Report of a 12-foot U-Haul trailer with Alberta, Canada, license plates was reported stolen from the 12:10 p.m.

- Vehicle burglary report in the 1000 block of East Fifth Street at 12:36 p.m.

- Report of a motorcycle stolen from a business in the 1500 block of East Fifth Street at 12:41 p.m.

- Vehicle burglary report on East William Street at 2:25 p.m.

- Report at 3 p.m. of tools stolen from a vehicle last week on Old Hot Springs Road.

- A business owner reported a woman was "checking out" a scooter at DC Motorsports on East Fifth Street at 3:36 p.m. "All of a sudden she drove off with it." The electric stand-up scooter is described as blue and white with silver handlebars and "Blade" written on the deck.

- A woman reported at 9:55 p.m. outside of Smith's that a man snatched her purse off her car seat then ran behind the store.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Felony arrest at Pick-N-Pull in Mound House at 11:22 a.m.

- Report of a counterfeit $50 passed at a business on Logan Lane in Fernley.
