CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:

Monday: Chili with crackers, mixed greens salad, mixed fruit, cornbread with honey butter.

Tuesday: Swedish meatballs, egg noodles, Brussel sprouts, carrot and raisin salad, blushed pears.

Wednesday: Cornish hen, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, cranberry salad, bread pudding with rum sauce, whole wheat roll with margarine.

Thursday: Christmas Day, center closed.

Friday: Chicken fried steak with country gravy, mashed potatoes, tomato/basil soup, apricots, biscuit with jelly.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Sloppy Joes, potato salad, spinach salad, Mandarin oranges.

Tuesday: Ground beef taco, rice, tomato, lettuce, cheese, guacamole with chips, banana.

Wednesday: Turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed spinach, green salad with tomatoes, whole wheat bread, peach butter, pears.

Thursday: Christmas Day, center closed.

Friday: Waffles, syrup, oatmeal with raisins, ham, apple slices, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Chicken fried steak, Italian cabbage salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, California blend veggies, Jell-O with whipped topping.

Tuesday: Chicken and stuffing casserole, romaine, cranberry and almond salad, country blend veggies, coffee cake.

Wednesday: Baked ham dinner, Waldorf salad, sweet potato, mashed potatoes with gravy, green peas with dinner roll, pecan pie.

Thursday: Christmas Day, center closed.

Friday: Stuffed cabbage rolls with egg noodles, carrots, garlic bread, apple crisp.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Avenue

Monday: Pepper steak with peppers and onions, rice, apples.

Tuesday: Chili, mixed salad, cornbread, Ambrosia.

Wednesday: Chicken curry over rice, colorful salad, rolls, pineapple chunks.

Thursday: Christmas Day, center closed.

Friday: Breakfast 9:30 a.m. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash brown potatoes, OJ, V-8 juice.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Shepherd's pie, green salad, fruit.

Tuesday: Chili con carne, Mexican creamed corn, melon salad.

Wednesday: Beef rib roast au jus, baked potato.

Thursday: Christmas Day, center closed.

Friday: Polish sausage with sauerkraut, German fried potatoes.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way. Menus were not available.

FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Drive.

Monday: Christmas party 3-6 p.m. Cook's choice main course, mashed potatoes with gravy, green salad with dressing, green beans, cranberry Jell-O, roll with margarine, assorted desserts.

Tuesday: Hot turkey or beef sandwich, stuffing, carrots, pears, bread, sherbet.

Wednesday: Stuffed peppers, green salad, spinach pasta, garlic bread, applesauce.

Thursday: Christmas Day, center closed.

Friday: Tuna salad on lettuce leaf, garden soup, Saltine crackers, peaches.
