The University of Nevada basketball team has been selected to play on television for the fifth straight year in the O'Reilly/ESPN BracketBuster event.

Nevada will travel to Carbondale, Ill. to play Southern Illinois of the Missouri Valley Conference on Feb. 23. The Salukis are 11-11 heading into tonight's conference game.

Time and which ESPN station will televise the game has yet to be determined.

This is the first road appearance in the BracketBuster for Nevada, 13-8 overall this season.

Nevada previously has played Vermont, Toledo and Northern Iowa in the one-day event which was started in an effort to give mid-major programs more national exposure.

Boise State will host Siena on Feb. 23 and UC-Santa Barbara travels to Utah State on Feb. 22.
