Terry Charles Clore

Terry Clore, passed away on February 11, 2008 at his home in Gardnerville. He was the son of Don and Esther Clore of Carson City. Terry was born in Reno on January 29, 1947 and then moved to Carson City where he attended Carson City schools. He lettered in football and baseball. After high school he went to Sierra Jr. College where he played football and even went to the Lettuce Bowl. From there he went to University of Nevada Reno.

Terry is survived by three children, Greg Clore and wife, Susan of Rocklin, Calif., Mark Clore of Las Vegas and daughter, Heather Clore of Danville, Calif. He had two grandchildren, Nate and Mason. He also leaves Michele Wolfe, his longtime companion, his sister, Sandy Friedman, of Sacramento, Calif. and brother Tom Clore, and his wife, Sheri of Minden along with their families.

Terry Clore started a partnership with his brother Tom Clore in 1979 known as Carson Valley Heating and Air. He was very active with his kids and family. He was involved Boy Scouts, Baseball, Soccer & Golf. He was very active in the community with Sertoma, Carson City Bowling League, Northern Nevada Golf Association, Softball, Hunting, and Fishing. He participated in many local events in the Carson Valley Area for years. If you ever met him you knew that he had a passion for golf and loved to play with all of his friends and family as many times a week as possible. Terry was known to give his help whenever, wherever and however. He had a big heart and never said "NO" to anyone.

He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him. There will be a memorial service for Terry Clore at Walton's Chapel of the Valley at 1281 North Roop St. in Carson City at 11 a.m. Sunday, February 16. A celebration of life will follow at Tom and Sheri Clore's House. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
