Theo Anne "Tedi" Ellis, (Baker) of Elk Grove, Calif., passed away on Dec. 29, 2007 at home after a short battle with cancer. She was 63.

Tedi was born Nov 24, 1944 in Washington DC, the daughter of Bob Ellsworth Baker and Evelyn Ernestine Sinclair.

She is predeceased by husband William Anthony Ellis, who passed away in 1998, her parents, and her brother, Robert Ellsworth Baker.

She is survived by her son Rick (Karol) Ellis of Citrus Heights, Calif.; daughter Tonya (Robert) Lemieszek of Sacramento; daughter Tina Nelson of Elk Grove; son Robert (Jeanne) Ellis of Texas; son Ryan Ellis of Washington; and daughter Sandra Ellis of Carson City; also survived by three step-children Cindy Ellis; Sylvia (Gary) Yasumoto of Gardnerville; and Joseph (Tiffany) Ellis of Corona, Calif.; and sixteen grandchildren.

A former resident of Carson City Tedi received her degree in nursing from Western Nevada College in 1998, and was most recently employed as a Registered Nurse with Vitas Hospice of Sacramento.

Tedi was known for her incredible smile, confidence, and drive to accomplish just about anything. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at the Natomas Crossroads Church in Sacramento, California on Saturday, January 12th at 3 p.m. Inurnment will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City on Friday, January 11th at 3 p.m.
