USDA Commodity Food Distribution


RSVP Carson City volunteers will distribute USDA Commodity Foods 9-11 a.m., Friday at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St. The household must sign the "Issuance Sheet" at the Community Center certifying that their household's annual income does not exceed 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. Register your dog for obedience class


Dog obedience classes will begin 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Fuji Park Exhibit Hall, 601 Old Clear Creek Road. Guy Yeaman, instructor, will help your dog to obey commands such as: Heel, Sit, Stay, Stand and Recall. Each dog needs a choke chain and a fabric or leather lead.
