Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of Oakridge Drive on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $317.


• A 33-year-old Gardnerville electrician was arrested at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday at Stewart and Second streets on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $534.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Report of a rock thrown through a window on Zephyr Circle at 8:48 a.m.


• Accident at Roop and Washington streets at 1:37 p.m.


• Burglary report in the 1300 block of North Lompa Lane at 1:51 p.m.


• Hit-and-run accident on South Carson Street at 5:31 p.m.


• Residential burglary report on Airport Road at 8:07 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report on Darla Way at 9:47 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Report of a vehicle in a ditch in Smith Valley on Day Lane at 12:49 a.m.


• Report of windows shot out on a front-end loader on Saddle Horn Drive in Fernley.


• Report of the rear window of a van on Turnberry Court broken out sometime overnight in Dayton.


• A woman reported an empty rental property on Riverboat Drive in Mark Twain was broken into and windows were broken sometime before 10:02 a.m.


• Report of a empty rental home on Calcite Drive in Mound House broken into sometime before 10:40 a.m.


• Report of an air conditioning unit stolen from a home on East Fifth Street in Silver Springs sometime before 12:50 p.m.


• Report of graffiti in the middle of the street on Crown Point Drive with the paint can left in a nearby yard in Dayton at 2:30 p.m.


• Report of a construction truck hitting a power pole on Sunset Hills Drive in Mason Valley at 8:35 p.m.
