Haskins launches mayoral campaign Web site

Pastor Ken Haskins, know as the "Rockin' Rev" for his years as a radio host, has launched a Web site to promote his run for mayor of Carson City.

The site, www.kenhaskinsformayor.com, is one page now but will be expanded, Haskins said.

Haskins, the pastor of First Christian Church, is one of six candidates for mayor.

The other candidates are school board member Bob Crowell, podiatrist Sean Lehmann, real estate agent Jim Shirk, locksmith Steve McClung and entrepreneur Pete Hansell.

Filing for city offices ended Friday. The primary is in August and the general election is in November.
