Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Jerry Lynn Leinweber, 35 of Carson City, was arrested at 10:27 a.m. Thursday on Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony sex offender failure to change address. According to the arrest report, Leinweber, a Tier One sex offender, was registered as living in Dayton, but he'd been living at a Hot Springs address for the past five months. Upon his arrest, Leinweber is quoted in the report as saying, "Nevada law sucks b----s."


• A 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 10:42 p.m. in the 1400 block of Camille Drive Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 30-year-old Carson City construction worker was arrested at 2:15 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• A Fremont 7-year-old was detained after throwing a rock at a teacher's car window, breaking it at 12:43 p.m.


• Report at 1:10 p.m. that a bank customer was upset about a car loan and threatened to shoot up the bank and the car dealership.


• Accident on College Parkway near Goni Road at 1:34 p.m.


• Report of a female going door to door selling magazines at Sonoma Street and Saliman Road at 4:08 p.m. An arrest was made of a juvenile.


• Vehicle burglary report on East Fifth Street at 5:33 p.m.


• Report of a man selling magazines door to door on Manhattan Drive at 5:52 p.m. The sales people were contacted and cited by deputies.


• A man reported at 8:46 p.m. that his 13-year-old son ran away.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Arrest on Nevada Pacific Boulevard at 2:49 a.m.
