Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.
Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.
The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:20 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls.
Today's weather will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall and small hail in the afternoon.
