Nancy Jean Leonard Boyd, 79, a Dayton resident, passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2008, at home with her family around her. Nancy was born Oct. 29, 1929 to Earl and Mary Alice Leonard in Los Angeles, Calif. She was an active member and editor of the church bulletin at St. Ann's parish in Dayton.
Nancy also enjoyed her weekly visits to the Dayton Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by her best friend and partner in life, Willie and sister Kathleen Weider; sons Steven, Gary, Mark and Kurt, and daughter and son-in-law Karen and Kevin Cross of Dayton; her loving grandchildren Paul, Chris (Carrie), Brian (Lena), Kim (Allen) and Joe (Claudia) Boyd, Sean and Ryan Cross, and great-grandson Christopher. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at a later time.
